My Resolution

I've decided to learn how to PvP more effectively, both in Battlegrounds and Arena. I'm basically a PvP n00b, only having 1.6k honor at lvl 68. Saying that though, it's gonna be hard to get practice in BG's seeing as almost no-one goes into any of the old ones anymore, at least when I'm on. It's all WG, WG, WG!

Jeez, whatever happened to a nice game of AV, huh? Anyway, back to my resolution, It would be really cool if I could get someone to show me the ropes instead of having to do it trial-and-error style.

By the time Season 6 comes out, I wanna have full Season 5! That is my goal.

I wish I could be of help in this matter...I suck at PvP, and enjoy it not the least little bit. The only PvP I do now is defending quest givers and flight masters and such. But back in the day, I would run the occasional Battleground for PvP rep towards gear, and I picked up a few things:
1. Teams lose by not having a good strategy, not following the strategy, or by not communicating with each other. This can only be alleviated by grouping with people you know and trust, at least one of whom is a leader who knows the BG in question.
2. Players die by not being well geared...having lots of resilience will help, as I understand it, but I don't know much more than that. Each class is different, but PvE gear is not always good PvP gear. You can usually get starter PvP sets on the AH that will be better than what you get from questing.
3. Players fail to maximize their potential by not having macros at the ready to cast several things at once. While you search for that Disengage button, the Rogue in your face has cast 4 different things that buffed himself and took half your HP.

That's all I have...nothing specific, but I hope it will at least start you looking in the right direction. Keep us posted on your progress!

Thanks for your advice :P Unfortunately my WoW subscription is up so it may be a week or two before I can get my PvP on.
